PSYCHOTHERAPY IN CENTRAL COPENHAGEN
Integrative psychotherapy in English and Spanish, offered in calm, confidential surroundings in central Copenhagen and online.
You may be carrying stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or the feeling that something in you has gone quiet.
Therapy can be a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and find a clearer sense of direction.
WHAT I CAN HELP YOU WITH
Many people come to therapy when something in life feels overwhelming, unclear, or difficult to carry alone. These are some of the themes I often work with.
You are always welcome to contact me if you are unsure whether therapy with me feels like the right fit for you.
THE THERAPY
Therapy with me is a space where we explore what is alive and present in your life. I do not work from one fixed model, but begin with what feels real, meaningful, and relevant for you.
We talk together, and we also slow down along the way. We pay attention to what is happening in your body, in your emotions, and in the space between us.
Often, change begins when we pause and become more aware of what is actually happening within you.
POSSIBLE CHANGE
Therapy is not about becoming someone else. It is about finding more clarity, connection, and freedom in the life you are living.
You may begin to feel more calm in your body and in your thoughts - and a steadier sense of balance in everyday life.
You may gain more clarity about your thoughts, emotions, and reactions - and a deeper understanding of yourself.
You may become better able to sense and express your needs, and to set healthier boundaries without guilt or shame.
You may experience greater self-acceptance, more contact with your body, and a stronger sense of standing more safely and freely in your life.
ABOUT ELENA
I work as a psychotherapist and organizational consultant, and I meet people who are looking for more clarity, direction, and connection in their lives.
My background includes both clinical and academic experience in mental health and human development.
I work with a systemic perspective, which means I pay attention to how your context, life conditions, and relationships have shaped your lived experience.
In therapy, I work in an integrative, embodied, and relational way, where emotions can be felt, understood, and integrated as part of creating new patterns and perspectives in your life.
My aim is to support you in finding more inner safety, clarity, and connection in your personal and professional life.
CLIENT EXPERIENCES
Clients often describe therapy as a place where they begin to feel more grounded, clear, and connected to themselves.
GETTING STARTED
It takes courage to take the first step. Here you can see how it works.
A non-binding conversation where we talk about what is bringing you here.
Together, we find out what makes sense for you – and at what pace.
Over time, you may begin to notice more calm, clarity, and connection to yourself.
THE PRACTICE
My practice is based in Grønnegade, just a short walk from Kongens Nytorv, in the heart of the city.
Even though the area outside is lively, many people experience the space itself as quiet, grounded, and easy to arrive in. It is a setting for reflection, presence, and confidential conversations.
If online sessions suit you better, they can be arranged via Zoom in a calm and confidential setting, so the experience feels as close as possible to meeting in person.

THEMES IN THERAPY
Many people do not come with one clear problem, but with a sense that something feels heavy, unclear, or no longer quite right.
Stress, inner pressure, or the feeling of carrying too much for too long.
Not knowing what to do next, or feeling disconnected from direction, energy, or movement.
Doubting your own value, struggling to trust yourself, or carrying a harsh inner voice.
Repeating patterns in relationships, difficulty expressing needs, or finding it hard to set boundaries.
Breakups, major changes, grief, moving country, or times when life no longer feels as it used to.
Feeling far from yourself, your needs, your body, or your sense of vitality.
Living between cultures, roles, or expectations, and searching for a stronger sense of belonging.
Fatigue, pain, chronic stress, or health challenges that affect both body and emotional life.
GOOD TO KNOW
It is completely natural to have questions before starting therapy. Here are a few answers to some of the things many people wonder about before taking the first step.
That is a very common place to begin.
You are welcome to book an introductory session, where we can talk about what is going on for you and whether this feels like the right fit.
The first session is a calm and open conversation.
We begin with what feels most present for you and take it from there, without any pressure to explain everything perfectly.
Each session lasts 60 minutes.
This applies to the introductory session, individual sessions, and therapy packages.
You do not need to prepare anything in a special way.
It is enough to come as you are and begin with what feels most important for you right now.

UNCERTAINTY
It is completely natural to feel unsure when you are thinking about starting therapy. Many people come for the first time with both curiosity and uncertainty — and you do not need to know exactly what you want to say or where to begin.
You are always welcome to get in touch if you would like to ask a question or simply get a sense of whether this feels like the right next step for you.
