THE THERAPY

How I work in therapy

I address therapy as a space where we explore what is alive and present in your life. I do not work from one fixed model, but begin with what feels real, meaningful, and relevant for you.

We talk together, and we also slow down along the way. We pay attention to what is happening in your body, in your emotions, and in the space between us.

Often, change begins when we pause and become more aware of what is actually happening within you.

More self-connection

You may experience greater self-acceptance, more contact with your body, and a stronger sense of standing more safely and freely in your life.

ABOUT ELENA

Meet Elena

I work as a psychotherapist and organizational consultant, and I meet people who are looking for support and authentic leadership in their lives.

My background includes both clinical and academic experience in mental health and personal development.
I work with a systemic approach, which means I pay attention to how your context, life conditions, and relationships have shaped your lived experience.

In therapy, I work in an integrative, embodied, and relational way, where emotions can be felt, understood, and integrated as part of creating new patterns and perspectives in your life.

My aim is to support you in finding more inner safety, clarity, and connection in your personal and professional life.

GETTING STARTED

How a process can begin

It takes courage to take the first step. Here you can see how it works.

1. Book an introductory session

A non-binding conversation where we talk about what is bringing you here.

2. Begin your process

Together, we find out what makes sense for you – and at what pace.

3. Experience change

Over time, you may begin to notice more calm, clarity, and connection to yourself.

THE PRACTICE

A calm and welcoming space in central Copenhagen

My practice is based in Grønnegade, just a short walk from Kongens Nytorv, in the heart of the city.

Even though the area outside is lively, many people experience the space itself as quiet, grounded, and easy to arrive in. It is a setting for reflection, presence, and confidential conversations.

If online sessions suit you better, they can be arranged via Zoom in a calm and confidential setting, so the experience feels as close as possible to meeting in person.

  • A few minutes’ walk from Kongens Nytorv Metro
  • Parking garage approx. 150 metres from the practice on Gammel Mønt
  • Bicycle parking outside the building

GOOD TO KNOW

Good to know before you start therapy

It is completely natural to have questions before starting therapy. Here are a few answers to some of the things many people wonder about before taking the first step.

That is a very common place to begin.
You are welcome to book an introductory session, where we can talk about what is going on for you and whether this feels like the right fit.

The first session is a calm and open conversation.
We begin with what feels most present for you and take it from there, without any pressure to explain everything perfectly.

Each session lasts 60 minutes.
This applies to the introductory session, individual sessions, and therapy packages.

You do not need to prepare anything in a special way.
It is enough to come as you are and begin with what feels most important for you right now.

Yes. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
You are welcome to choose the language that feels most natural and supportive for you.

Yes. What we talk about in therapy is treated with care and confidentiality.
If you have any questions about this before we begin, you are always welcome to ask.

Yes. Online sessions can be arranged if that suits you better.

UNCERTAINTY

If you are unsure

It is completely natural to feel unsure when you are thinking about starting therapy. Many people come for the first time with both curiosity and uncertainty — and you do not need to know exactly what you want to say or where to begin.

You are always welcome to get in touch if you would like to ask a question or simply get a sense of whether this feels like the right next step for you.

A space to reconnect with yourself

Therapy can be a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin with what matters most. You do not need to be completely sure before taking the first step.
